Donna Crabtree & Bliken (Dutch Shepherd)
Donna Crabtree is the owner and trainer of Iron Sight K-9. Donna is a 4-year Army veteran who has always had a passion for animals, striving to be a veterinarian in childhood. Her future slightly changed when she enlisted in the military at age 17. After serving her country, she chose to pursue a career in Criminal Justice where she obtained her bachelor’s degree from Bethel University. She entered the K-9 industry in 2014 when she purchased her first working dog, a Dutch Shepherd named Bliken. In mid-2019 she researched the benefits of becoming a dog trainer and chose to attend Tarheel Canine, located in Sanford NC for 6 months of hands-on training and education. Donna is skilled in obedience training, but truly thrives for the working dog side, getting more enjoyment out of decoying for bite-work, training for scent-detection, and tracking/trailing dogs.
